Today presented a 27km walk from Culverden to Wairakei. The day was cool and clear. We spent some time future planning on some fish and chip paper from last nights meal. The trick is combining distances with stopping points and then a final end date in the mix.
The walk today took in plenty of widespread farmland. We were able to make steady progress right through to our arrival at Waikari. We enjoyed a bar meal of wedges and nachos at the Star and Garter Hotel. Another KiwiCash camping system was to be our nights accomodation.
